I Asked Poem
I asked the dog why it was white,
And the dog barked and ran swiftly.
I asked the grass why it was green,
And it swayed lazily.
I asked the clouds why they rained,
And they floated gently away.
I asked the leaves to fall,
And they stuck to the tree like glue.
I asked the sentence why it was long,
And it just sat there on the page.
I asked myself why I was asking questions,
And the statue exploded.
The balloon popped, the guy jumped,
And I kept quiet.
And everything was perfect.

I ASKED POEM
I asked the waves
why they were orange
and they crashed and bashed about
I asked the grass
why it was purple
and it swayed and tumbled about
I asked the light
bulb why it was bright
and it shone and sparkled everywhere
I asked the tree
to fall secretly
and it fell and smacked to the ground
I asked the wind
to blow strongly
and it soared just like a bird
I asked the diamond
to sparkle and shine .
It did and it was like water
I asked the book
why it was read and it opened its pages
I asked myself why
am I so curious and I shut my mouth
The grass wound
the light shone and I was quiet .
Everything was
perfect
